Satya Chakrabarty MD, FAAP is a Board Certified Pediatrician with over 27 years of practice experience . He graduated from medical school and did his post graduation training in Pediatrics from India. He completed His Pediatric Residency from State University of New York in Brooklyn in 1994 and completed 2 years of Fellowship Training in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology from St.Christopher’s Hospital for Children in 1997.
Dr. Chakrabarty has hospital privileges at both Cookeville Regional Medical Center and Livingston Regional Hospital.
He has special interest in ADHD and Behavioral Medicine.
Dr. Chakrabarty resides in Cookeville and has two children.
Megan Breyer is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She grew up in Nashville, TN and recently moved to Cookeville for the opportunity to work with us here at TPAC . She graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South in May of 2013 with a Bachelors in Biochemistry. She then went on to get her Masters in Primary Care Pediatric Nurse practitioner from Vanderbilt University in August 2015. Megan grew up always wanting to be in the medical field. It wasn’t until, she was a patient in the children’s hospital herself, that she knew she wanted to do pediatrics. Her great love for children is quite noticeable the instant that you meet her! Her hobbies include playing with her sweet chocolate lab puppy, horseback riding, reading, tennis and of course being the fill in nanny to her neighbor's children back in Nashville as much as she can.
Kay is a Board Certified Physician Assistant from Piney Flats, TN. She attended physician assistant school at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. She first moved to Cookeville to attend Tennessee Tech University. She graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture. Through both personal medical experiences and shadowing opportunities, she discovered her love for the PA profession. After graduation, she worked at Cookeville Regional Medical Center while fulfilling requirements for physician assistant school. Being a physician assistant allows her to solve medical challenges that intrigue her along with the daily opportunities to positively impact and make a difference in the lives of people in need. She is excited to move back to Cookeville, joining her fiancé, their cat “Mocha,” horse "Willy," and numerous livestock animals. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, hiking, riding horses, boating, and working on the farm.
Tennessee Pediatric & Adolescent Center is excited to welcome back to our practice, Mrs. Lisa Wheeler, PNP. Lisa is a board certified Pediatric Advanced Nurse Practitioner. She has many talents to add to our practice with over 20 years of combined experience. Lisa is a native of the Upper Cumberland, she lives and raises her family here. Lisa is also a Certified Lactation Consultant and is currently taking appointments for new patients.
William "Brad" McCrary is a Board Certified Physician Assistant from Woodbury, Tennessee. Brad graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Science and a minor in Anthropology. He then went on to graduate from Lincoln Memorial University - DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine's PA program in 2016.
Prior to going to medical school, Brad enjoyed martial arts, theater, and music, working as a dance instructor in Woodbury, Tennessee. Brad considers himself a child at heart but takes medicine very seriously. Inspired by his doctor growing up, Brad always had a love for pediatrics. He is happy to be a part of the TPAC team. From well-child exams, to behavioral health consultations, to in-office procedures, Brad is happy to help your child or adolescent any way he can.
